Fathers Day Cards
6:00 AM
Hello there!
With June right around the corner, we're starting to gear up for graduation season and Father's Day. Since we brought lots of graduation cards already, we thought it'd be fun to show you some Father's Day cards. If you are anything like me, you struggle creating cards for the men in your life.
For the first card I went with a very neutral color palette- perfect colors for a guy. When creating cards, it's important to remember that sometimes less is more. This is very true when creating masculine cards. I quickly stamped my filigree background and added a few touches of Onyx glitter and Black & Sand Boutique Buttons. Quick and easy but makes a huge impact.
This second card is a little more detailed. Again I stuck with more neutural colors but also added touches of orange. Normally I try to steer clear of bows on guy cards but I made an exception for this card. I know that this much glitter isn't usually the "norm" when creating masculine cards, but I think this card pulls it off nicely. (I even got approval from my dad and brothers!)
I hope you got inspiration from these Father's Day cards. Have you created a Father's Day card with our stamps? Feel free to send us a picture- we just might feature it on the blog!
This weekend we are in Sacramento for a stamp show. Do you live in northern California? We would love for you to stop by and visit our booth! Details on this show can be found here.
We hope you have a great weekend. We'll be back on Monday with a new post. Happy stamping!

Where did you get the paper for the first of the two cards? I love that first card!
Very nice manly cards Paulina. Very masculine... yet elegant at the same time.
Gina, the paper was handstamped- pretty cool, huh? The links to the stamps are at the end of the post. Let me know if you have any other questions!
Great examples of masculine cards!! Thanks for the inspiration!
Lovely cards! I struggle with creating masculine projects too.
Paulina these are stunning. I love the colors that you chose, perfect for Father's Day! :)
Thanks for the great idea's on mens cards. One of the stamps was purchased this past weekend in Sacramento at the stamp show, & I am so happy to have a new idea on layout with it.
Hugs,
Pat Smith
