Thanksgiving Pie

Hi there! Lisa E. here today sharing my final Thanksgiving card for 2013!! This one features my favorite Thanksgiving food...pumpkin pie!
I've stamped the pie slice from the Thanksgiving Dinner stamp set on ivory cardstock, colored it and punched it out with a 1 1/8" circle punch. Then I popped it up on a scallop circle. A Spellbinders label was stamped around the edges with the pumpkin from the Autumn stamp set. My pumpkin pie focal fits perfectly in the Celebrate Circle stamp.

Next up a kraft panel was embossed with the Henna folder. This was added to an ivory card base followed with the focal panel. A touch of glitter on the pie crust and dessert plate and a trio of Bronze Rhinestones are the finishing accents.

A very Happy Thanksgiving to all of our friends in the United States, thanks for stopping by today!

Give Thanks Chickies

Hi, DeNami friends!

It’s Wendy blogging today.  I know we have many chickie fans, so I thought I should give my chickie stamps some love.  Thanksgiving will be here before we know it, so now is a perfect time to stamp some cards to give thanks.

I started with the Whimsical Wreath and used Habanero, Toffee, and Vintage Sepia Versafine Inks.  Then I added the chickies from the Thanksgiving Chickies set to the center using Versafine Black Ink.  There was just enough blank space in between to add the Give Thanks sentiment from the Thanksgiving Stamp Set, along with the Solid Scallop Circle. I used the Toffee ink, but stamped off of my paper once and then onto my card (to get a softer look).  The edes of the card was distressed and mounted onto a mustard card.  To top everything off, I used Copics to color in the chicks and tied a bow with some twine.

I hope you enjoyed today's card. Happy stamping!

Pin-spired: Autumn Wreath

Hello, DeNami friends!

It's only eight days away....yes, Thanksgiving is approaching quickly! I've been busy getting orders processed and from the looks of it, some of you are running behind like I am. Fear not, as I wrote this post, all online orders have been shipped, so your Thanksgiving (or Christmas) stamps are on their way! If you get an order in within the next day or two, I'll do everything I can to make sure you get your Thanksgiving stamps in time. :)

Today we have a new Pin-spired post to share and the team have created some cards that have me longing for some warm apple cider and a hot fire- they're so cozy! Let's take a peek at what the team created....

Thanksgiving Cornucopia

Hi Denami friends, I'm here today to share a Thanksgiving card with you!

This card began as a scrap of cardstock sitting on my desk that had been embossed with one of the new embossing folders that Denami carries (Wire Fence) . I ordered quite a few because I just love the quick texture they give to my projects.

I had the tag with the Cornucopia image stamped onto it from a trial run of a previous project, so perhaps they were meant to come together. I stamped the bottom of my card base with the Houndstooth background because it makes me think of warm, rich comforting material this time of year, and it's chilly here in NY already:) Then I adhered the embossed panel with inked edges on top and added the ribbon. The tag seemed to be missing something so I masked parts of the Cornucopia and added some leaves from the Autumn Stamp set. Then I stamped, colored, and cut out the tiny pumpkin as well and added that. After adding the Happy Thanksgiving sentiment, I still thought the card needed more, so a few stamped and cut out leaves from the Solid Leaves set, a button, and some twine finished it off!

Thanks for checking it out, I hope you have a wonderful, thankful day:)

Leaf Give Thanks

Howdy, DeNami friends! It's Emily here with you today, and it's my turn to share a little DeNami inspiration with all of you. How about a Thanksgiving card?

This card is on the petite side; it's only 3.75" x 3.75". I created the background on my card base by stamping  Decorative Flourish repeatedly with Versamark and heat embossing with clear embossing powder. Then I did some tone-on-tone stamping, still using the Decorative Flourish, on each of the colored squares. I added some subtle pattern to each of the leaves with Medium Solid Filigree stamp. And finally, I built my focal point with the Give Thanks Circle and a little leaf from the Autumn Petit Four stamp set. I just love these happy colors for fall!

Thanks for dropping by today!
