{Almost} One Layer
Good morning to you!
I don't know about you ladies, but I have a super hard time doing one-layer cards. I can never seem to make them feel complete, and I'm always tempted to add lots of layers. However, Nami is the QUEEN of one-layer cards. Today I thought I'd share one of my favorites from the cards she brought back to the office.
Now, some of you may tend to think of the Sweetheart Mimi stamp only for Valentine's Day cards. Oh, dear friends, she can be used for everyday cards as well! Take a look at this beauty, that just happens to be {almost} a one-layer card. (The dove is the only item on another layer)
Cardstock: White
Ink: Onyx Black

That is a very cute card!
I too struggle with one-layer anything feeling complete LOL!
But now I feel inspired to give it a try :o)
Pretty!!! I can't seem to do one-layer cards...EVER!! I always feel like I HAVE to add a layer somewhere!! LOL!
Cute card. I love the CAS one layer cards.
Lovely card and special use of the "valentimey" stamps. My cards seem to frequently be last minute-have-to-get-it-in-the-mail-right-away cards, so CAS and one-layer. Gotta admit, though, it's hard to not add at least something to add some depth. The dove is a great touch.
