Thankful Chicks

Happy Friday!

Have you all been enjoying the Thanksgiving posts? While I miss playing with the Halloween stamps {and the colors that go along with them}, I do love creating with these warm, rich colors. As long as my health stays at bay, I plan on creating lots of fun Thanksgiving items in the coming weeks.

Today my card features a little of this and a little of that- literally. I brought in patterned papers and cork on this one! I thought it looks really fun and brought both character and texture to the card. It's so fun going through my craft drawers and seeing what I can incorporate into my creations.

Tip: small sentiments don't have to be stamped just once! I like to stamp them multiple times to fill up the larger focal piece areas.

Before I finish up this blog post, I have a question for you all. I'm curious to see how many of you create Thanksgiving cards, place cards, note cards, decorations....
Thanks for visiting the DeNami blog today. Have a great weekend and I'll see you back here on Monday!

I love to stamp place cards, napkins, other table decor. I have been known to stamp Thanksgiving cards. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, so I tend to really do it up.

I tend to only use thanksgiving stamps to make general fall themed cards. I love the idea of making placecards and table decorations but the last few thanksgivings for us have been very small family affairs - only 5-6 people and it seems a little over-kill to have placecards for that small a group.

I'm seriously in love with this! I've been seeing cork here and there lately and love what it brings to the card...how fun!

My fave way to use Thanksgiving stamps is for little treats. The turkey and little pumpkins are just too perfect :)

I make cards monthly for my great nieces and nephews, so it's nice to have a holiday theme for monthly cards. Love the sentiment on this card.

I like making little goodies for my DIL 1st grade class. This year I'll use the DeNami turkey!
