Thanksgiving Warmth & Elegance

Hello!

Before I start with today's post, I want to let you all know that Wendy is a lifesaver. Recently, with my bout of health issues, I haven't been able to create very much. She saw my health updates and also that a few projects were due and so graciously stepped up to the plate and created things so I could share them on the blog. Thank you SO much, Wendy!

Remember how I posted a picture on the DeNami Facebook page allowing you all to vote on a stamp to be featured? Last week, we showed the Apple Basket {posts can be found here and here} and this week we are showing off the Leaf Accents stamp set!

How beautiful is this card that Wendy created? I think it captures the essence of an Autumn day- beautiful colored leaves falling making you feel warm & cozy.

Wendy brought out a technique that we don't do very often- heat embossing! Back in the day, we used to do this quite a bit on our cards, but in recent years, we have cut back. I love that she brought this technique out again- it definitely inspires me to try it out again!

Technique: heat emboss your stamps on your cards and projects to bring warmth and elegance.

Unique Product: did you notice the light stripes behind the leaves? That is our beautiful Columns Vellum! It adds a subtle background and is so versatile!

I hope you were inspired by this beautiful card, I know I was! Next week, we'll be bringing you the Classic Christmas stamp set {since it was the most requested this week}. If you haven't already, be sure to "vote" on what you would like to see in the future!

NOT LISTED: copper embossing powder
