Coloring Inked Images by Tammy

Good morning!

One thing you may notice about the DeNami DT- we have designers that each have their own unique style. Each of these gals bring so much to DeNami and hopefully you're able to relate and/or be inspired to a few of them. My favorite part about being on this side of the team? Being inspired, challenged and encouraged to go outside my comfort zone occasionally and try something new.

Today's tutorial by Tammy Hobbs is one that is new to me, but the results are super neat! Remember how colored pencils were considered "school supplies" in the past? They are now SUPER popular in crafting and today you'll see one of the many ways you can incorporate them into your cardmaking.

white pigment ink
colored pencils
die cut or punched shape

I hope that you were inspired by this Photo Tutorial. If YOU give it a try, I would love to see your creation(s)! Feel free to post your picture on the DeNami Facebook page or the DeNami Flickr group

If any of you are in the W. Springfield, MA area, come by the Heirloom Productions show THIS Saturday and Sunday. We'll have our whole display there, Nami will be demonstrating, there's Make & Takes and lots of shopping. This event only happens once a year, so you won't want to miss it!

Tammy, your card is beautiful and thank you for a new technique to try. I'll bet it would work on another deep colored paper. I'll give it a try.
