Fall Squirrel Project
Hi friends! It's Lisa E. and it's my turn in the DeNami design team rotation to
share an extra project with you. I thought I would mix it up a bit this time and
share something other than a card. How about a fun fall goodie
bag!

It's that time of year
again when the squirrels are scampering about gathering their winter stash! So
what set could be more appropriate than the {Nuts About
You} petit four! This project starts with a simple flat brown paper sack. I
folded the bottom portion up and closed the two dies with Scor Tape, leaving the
top open. Next I added some DP to the front of the bag. A postage die cut was
stamped with the scallop
square, the squirrel and the heart shaped acorns (from the Nuts About You
set). These were all colored with markers. I wrapped the die cut with twine then
added it to the bag with foam tape. Two more acorns were stamped and colored on
the DP.
Using the sentiment and
another small postage die cut, I made a little tag for the goodies! It's
attached with twine and a chunky espresso
boutique button.
Add them to the pouch and you're good to go! See the little polka dot strip on the bag?
There is another pocket here. Perfect for slipping in a handwritten note or
small matching card!
Designer's Tip: Add a bit of chalk shading to the outer edges of your die cut. This adds a bit of subtle zip to the panel! I chose a soft blue here to pick up the thin blue line in the DP.

AHHH I can't stand how cute and clever this is Lisa! Love that postage stamp cut-out and the pretty edged stamp behind the squirrel.
