Count your Rainbows...

Hello there! DeNami Design's Spring/Summer 2014 release includes several new sentiments that are so heart-warming and perfect for letting the special people in our lives know that we care! The brand new Count Your Rainbows is my personal favorite of the bunch:

A sweet little reminder that although life throws us a lot of curve-balls, it's important to focus on the good stuff.

I had so much fun making this card, and it makes me happy just looking at it! Using Smoky Gray Versafine ink, I stamped the Small Cloud twice on my focal panel and once on a scrap piece of white cardstock. I masked the clouds and stamped the Small Sun Swirl. I then stamped the sentiment and used a Stamp-A-Ma-Jig tool to stamp out the Drops in a rainbow assortment of ink colors. This took a little bit of time, but I love the results! Could be handy to have multiples of this stamp to make creations like this one even simpler in the future. Hmmm...something to think about.

I scored a couple of vertical lines down the sides of my focal panel, added some scalloped polka dot borders, tied on some Summer Twine, and adhered the finished panel to a blank card front. As a final detail, the cloud that was stamped onto the scrap piece was fussy cut and adhered to the panel with foam adhesive.

Well, friends, we're so glad you stopped by today. I hope this card brings some sunshine your way!

Such a happy, inspiring card. Love the colored raindrops and bright yellow polka dot paper. Most of all, I love the sentiment. We should all be doing that!
