Coffee Lover Card
4:00 AM
Hi Friends,
I have been seeing lots of coffee inspired cards and being from the Pacific Northwest, which is the coffee capital of the world, we needed coffee stamps, DeNami style!
Lisa has come up with a very clever card using the coffee word stamps as well as a soft layering technique with vellum paper. I think you will find it very clean looking, but also simple enough to make for everyday occasions.
What a great project. This would also be a great card to make into gift sets to give as gifts. The Cafe clear stamp set has enough variety where you can make variations on the coffee theme for your gift.
Let's find out what Lisa did to create this lovely...

Hi, DeNami Design friends! It’s Lisa P, and today I’m sharing a fun card featuring the brand new CRM02 Café Clear Stamp Set. This card could be used for any occasion, and it would be a perfect fit for a friend or family member who loves coffee.
I’ve seen lots of examples in blogland of people using a variety of
sentiment stamps to create a backdrop for their focal image. So, when I saw this
set with all of the sweet little coffee-related word stamps, I knew I wanted to
try out this technique with it. I traced a circle in pencil to use as a
guideline, stamped the words “coffee,” “latte,” and “espresso” in brown ink, and
erased my pencil lines. Then, I die-cut a circle from white cardstock and
stamped the to-go coffee cup on it. I paper pieced the cup (choosing the “r” on
the patterned paper, so I can give this card to my friend, Rosemarie) and popped
the circle up onto a scalloped circle die-cut from vellum. I added some die-cut
hearts to round out the design.
I had so much fun making this card, and I’m really happy with how it turned
out! I hope you like it too!!!
Thanks for stopping by!
