"Trick or Treat"- Treat Boxes

Hi Friends,

Halloween is around the corner and is a fun time to give treats to your friends and family. Lisa created an adorable but simple treat box that you can easily make many of to share with those you want to surprise.

These Boutique Boxes are great for gift giving and favors. You can even stamp on it using StazOn ink pads.

Here is what Lisa did:

Hey there, crafty friends! It’s Lisa P. I absolutely love making Halloween treats for my family, friends, and neighbors. Today I’m sharing a sweet little candy box I created using some super fun products from DeNami Design!

I started with one of DeNami Design’s Clear Boutique Boxes. The box measures 1” x 1.5” x 4.25”. I cut a 4” x 7” strip of kraft wrapping paper, die-cut the long sides with the zig-zag border from PPPD04 Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Borders 1, and then stamped the paper with images from the NEW CL-PF67 Halloween Night Stamp Set, the A92 Teeny Star, and the moon from PF47 Outer Space Stamp Set. (Note: You could also use a strip cut from a brown paper shopping bag or lunch sack---a great way to upcycle.)

I wrapped the box with my decorated kraft strip and adhered it in place.

I die-cut an orange cardstock tag from PPPD09 Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Tags and stamped it with the CL-D148 Trick Or Treat sentiment. I added the A92 Teeny Star to tie it in with my wrapping. I punch a hole in the top of the tag and tied it onto the box with some fun ribbon.

Here’s a closer look:

I filled the box with Autumn-colored Peanut M&M’s, but you could fill it with any variety of goodies you prefer.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you like my creation and feel inspired to make some Halloween treats! We’d love to see what you come up with!
