Interview with Jenny

Since we received such a great response on the interview with Nami, we decided we would do one for all of our design team members. This week, we are bringing one featuring Jenny!

How did you hear about DeNami Design?

I think I saw DeNami at one of the craft shows here in Colorado 4-5 years ago. I absolutely fell in love with Nami's images the first time I saw them! I've been hooked ever since!

How long have you been stamping?

I have been stamping for over 6 years. I was invited to a SU! party and soon after became a demonstrator. I believe I was a demo for 3 years. I love teaching other how to create craft projects. I have since moved on and have started focusing more on my blog, challenges and commitments with design teams.

How would you describe your stamping style?

I like to use the contradiction- simplistic details. I have also heard bloggers say my style is clean and simple.

What is your favorite color combination to use on your projects?

How could you go wrong with Pink! I love all shades of pink! Sometimes when I want to spice my pinks up a bit, I will sprinkle in some browns.

If you had to choose one go-to stamp, what would it be?

Just one...that is hard! Mimi is simply my favorite and I seem to go to her when I can.

What is your favorite embellishment?

I'm always trying to find a place to put brads or ribbons on my cards, so those would have to be my favorites.

How many cards do you create per week?

That depends on DT requirements. I would say on average I create 1 card a day and more on the weekends if I can fit it in. I also stamp and create more cards in the winter months.

What is your favorite part of blogging?

Reading comments my followers give me and returning the favor. I love the many friendship I have gained with this wonderful hobby which is all due to blogging.

Any tips for new stampers?

If you keep practicing, you will get better. It just takes time. When in doubt, jump on the internet. So many great forums, tutorials, card pictures and information you can find just by hunting around. Everything card making can become VERY addicting!
