Candy Corn Boxes
Hello there!
As I mentioned in yesterday's blog post, this week I'll be featuring various Halloween treats, tags and other goodies. I knew right away that I HAD to use candy corn at least once this week, so I got to thinking of how I'd incorporate it into a project. After going through my choices, I finally decided on the 3 x 3 Boutique Boxes for my candy holder. Quick and easy with SUPER cute results.
Did you happen to notice the "boo" circle? I got this idea from DT member, Michele on one of her sneak peek projects. (Click here to view it) The great thing about this stamp- you can create the circle as big, or small, as you want.
These little treat boxes would be perfect for favors at a Halloween party, little gifts for your kids to give to school mates or neighborhood friends, or you could give them to co-workers!
Instructions
1) Put together 3 x 3 Boutique Boxes- fill with candy.
2) Adhere 5/8" Orange grosgrain to box.
3) Punch out 2" scallop circle (on white); stamp "boo" circle.
4) Punch out 2½" scallop circle (on black); adhere to white circle.
5) Stamp, color, cut out ghost images. Adhere inside circle.
6) Create bows with 3/8" Orange grosgrain, put on either side of scallop circles. Add rhinestones.
I hope you'll give these little treats a try! As many of you know, we have a really quick turnaround time, so if you order today, it'll most likely go out later today or tomorrow! Still plenty of time to give these out at Halloween!
