Christmas Gifts Day #2

I'm so happy that you all enjoyed yesterday's blog post. If I'm being honest, I always worry when I do a theme week- I'm never positive if it'll be well received. Thank you for assuring me that this one was a good choice! I'm hoping that you'll enjoy today's project just as much!

Since many have been requesting ideas on how to use washi tape, I just had to share a project showcasing how it could be used on a gift. Yes, it can be used on things other than paper! In fact, in the future, we'll be showcasing all sorts of fun ways you can use it...I can't share any info yet, but it will be worth the wait! :)

Do any of you visit your local dollar stores? I'm a HUGE fan of them; especially since I have found quite a bit of great items there. My recent find: a clear glass candle holder. I wanted to create a fun centerpiece {that would make a great hostess gift}, so I pulled out my stash of washi tape and went to town.

Tip: you can fill your candle holder with items other than a candle! Here I used some decorative berry sprigs, moss and pine cones. You could fill it with candies, decorative bells, or even put cake pops {with filler} in it!

Since it's been a little while since I've had a Question of the Day, I thought today would be the perfect day to bring you another one! :) Can't wait to read your ideas!
Thank you for stopping by the DeNami blog. I hope you enjoyed today's project. See you bright & early tomorrow with another Christmas gift idea!

Ohhh my gosh...LOVE!!!! Hmmm, I'd fill it pretty much like you have only I'd have to add some sparkle (you know how I am when it comes to that, haha) so maybe some small silver ornaments. It also would be fun for a pre-Christmas get together with family to hold names for drawing if you're doing Secret Santa.

Chocolate. One can never go wrong with a lot of chocolate. The centerpiece might be a little lacking by the time the party started but that's life! :) I think I need to go to the dollar store.

I seriously think you are becoming the queen of Washi tape Paulina ~ this is adorable and super creative!

How would I fill it...chocolate...lots of Hersheys chocolate! Hmmm that might be a bad idea though, because I wouldn't want to give it away ;)

Very cute. I'd put a small vase inside and fill it fresh holly and cedar boughs from my yard and use it as table centerpiece.
