Whimsy Owls Button Boutique
Hello friends! Here we
are at the beginning of another new week. Another Monday, a Monday that just so
happens to be Button Boutique Monday! Are you ready for a bit of whimsy!!??!!
Here we go...
Doesn't he look like a
wise old fella!
I think it's the eyes
that do it for him.
I drew my own pattern and cut it from muslin. His wings and details surrounding the eyes are made of felt. I've used Espresso and Harvest Boutique Buttons for the eyes and "feathers" on his tummy.
To transform this idea into a card there were several owls to chose from in the DeNami shop. But I went with this little one from the Owls: Petit Four Set. He's stamped on the smallest of my Spellbinders postage dies, then two larger die cuts were layered under that. Since my owl is such a wise looking fella, I thought the ABCs Embossing Folder was the perfect choice for my card. Love this sentiment, isn't it fun!! A few Harvest Boutique Buttons and this card was complete.

Lisa is amazing--always creative & coming up with something new--love the owl (drew her own pattern?!) & the sweet card!
