Stormy Weather
Sometimes you just need a pick-me-up type of card, and that's exactly what this is!
Hi there, it's Dana here on the Denami blog today.
I'm
sharing a card I made last week for a friend who is going through a
rough time. I wanted her to know that storm clouds eventually move on,
brighter things appear, and to just hang in there!
Denami's Large Open Umbrella stamp popped into my mind along with the new Things Will Get Better
sentiment as perfect for a pick-me-up card. What with the bad weather
we've been having this winter, how can we NOT focus on the weather?!
I used the Polka Dot BG stamp for both the top and bottom background panels and couldn't resist a few Small Clouds stamped in white on grey CS and raised up with pop dots.
They are difficult to see, but behind the umbrella are pale blue "raindrops" made with the Small Splatter stamp. This is seriously my most used Denami stamp of all time folks. You would not imagine the possibilities it holds!:)
I finished the card off with a red button and some classic twine.
If you need an encouragement card for someone, try the large umbrella, some clouds, and a positive sentiment!

Perfect pairing of stamps Dana!! Love your layout and colors too, this is just terrific!
Oh how I love this card, Dana--wonderful choice of DeNami stamps (NEED that umbrella!), card design & colors!
