Father's Day Card- "You're the Best"
Hello DeNami Friends!
Today, I've created a card using the Little Leaf Filigree stamp and the You're the Best sentiment. I didn't set out to make a Father's day card, but as I worked with the colors, it kinda morphed into the perfect masculine card for Father's day! Win win, lol!
Here's how I created my card
- I die cut a heart from a piece of white card stock. Then I ink blended a light blue ink with an ink blending tool.
- I used Versamark ink to stamp the You're the Best sentiment, and then heat set it with gold embossing powder.
- I die cut a rectangle from another piece of white cardstock. I used 2 different blue inks and 2 different green inks to blend inks onto my panel.
- I stamped the little leaf filigree stamp repeatedly with Versafine ink, creating a beautiful background panel.
- I adhered the heart to the background panel with foam tape.
- I adhered the entire piece to a navy blue card base.
I hope you like my card! I love that I created a Father's day card, and I can't wait to give it to my husband! I think the sentiment says it all, and the little leaf filigree adds just the perfect background detail without being feminine!

Father's Day Card- "Cheers"

It’s Lisa P. This week our design team is sharing Father’s Day projects featuring images from DeNami Design’s brand new release! (Isn’t the new release amazing?!?! If you missed the sneak peeks and release…you’ll definitely want to check it out! It’s filled with over-the-top cuteness!!!)
When I travel back east to visit my parents and brothers, we have a tradition of going to Primanti’s for beers and sammies. So, when I saw the NEW CL-PF69 Happy Drinks set I knew that bottle image was perfect for my dad’s Father’s Day card this year.
I stamped the bottle image twice, angling each to make it look like they were clinking, and added color with markers. I masked the images and stamped the J16 Small Splatter over top. Then, I stamped the bottle image two more times onto a scrap piece of white cardstock, colored them with markers, fussy cut them, and adhered them on top of the previously stamped bottle images with foam tape. This adds a bit of dimension to the card. I stamped the CL-F211 Happy Father’s Day sentiment below the splatter. To finish, I die-cut a PPPD19 Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Speech Bubble from white cardstock, stamped the word “cheers” onto it and added it above the bottles.
