Nami's Favorite Things

1) ATG Gun- The best adhesive ever invented. Saves time, money and aggravation. You can make your own glue dots with it, remove any excess if you go over the paper edges, use it behind Vellum paper, and use it with dimensional accents, like buttons, bows and googly eyes.

2) Decorative Flourish- I love it because it helps to make a background or acts as a filler around  a stamped background. I usually use the VersaMagic pads when using it as a filler.

3) Quickie Glue Pen- Easy way of adding bling to any project. Easy application, strong adhesive and quick drying.

4) Crystal Lacquer- Very versatile. You can use it alone for a glossy raised finish. You can sprinkle glitter on it for a rhinestone effect and added bling. You can sprinkle Fun Fluff on it for the fuzzy textures. The needle tip gives you much control and a clean application.

5) Polka dot background- Makes easy-peasy backgrounds in a snap.

6) Three Line Border- I love the versatility of making plaid with it, checkers, a border or a band. I will usually stamp the dotted border on each side of it when making it into a band.

Here is a card that Nami created using many of her Favorite Things. It's so pretty and elegant- typical Nami style. :) She has a knack for whipping up such beautiful things; especially with the Aloe Vera and Sea Breeze ink pads.

I hope you enjoyed this last installment of the Favorite Things feature. I had such a great time hearing from each of the DT members, and I'm sure you did too. If you missed any of the features, you can click here to view them.

I hope you all have a super great weekend. We'll see you on Sunday for the Floral Frenzy Blog Hop!

Andrea's Favorite Things

Happy Friday!

We have reached the last design team member and I am so sad to see this feature come to a close. However, we can't have a "Favorite Things" installment without having the person who started it all share her favorite products! Next Friday I'll have Nami's Favorite Things- it'll be so fun to see what she chooses! But let's not get ahead of ourselves....

Today I have picks from the extremely talented, and super sweet, Andrea! Let's take a peek at her Favorite Things, shall we?

1) Fly A Kite-  This stamp just plain makes me feel good! It reminds me of childhood - freedom and simplicity. The kite tail with the little ribbons is such a great touch :)

2) Cardstock- Ohhh, I love the textured cardstock!!! Wonderful texture but easy to stamp on as well. And in many yummy colors!

3) Petit Fours- OMG how much do I love these bitty stamp sets! They can be used as a focal point, as a background... versatile and beautiful!

4) Teeny Heart Background- I just love this sweet little heart background! It just makes the perfect backdrop on any project and does equally well front and center as a focal point. I could just use it over and over again and NEVER tire of it!

5) Owl Trio- What's not to love?! These cute little owls can work perfectly as a border or individually, cut out and placed in different arrangements. They're so cute and completely versatile

6) Birdhouse Trio-  What I really like about this stamp is the fact that it is a large image - it makes a great focal point!!! Plus it's too cute!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. If you are in the Mesa, Arizona area, we have a stamp show this weekend- we'd LOVE for you to stop by! Click here for the details.

I will see you on Monday for the next blog challenge; this time we have a super fun sketch! :)

Ayana's Favorite Things

Hello, DeNami friends!

Today it's time for Ayana's "Favorite Things" feature! We have had the privilege of having Ayana on the team for 10 months now. Each time she creates a DeNami card, I am blown away by her creativity and use of stamps! Her cards are usually filled with bright, happy colors, along with some fun accessories. (Her card on her blog today is NO exception)

Let's see Ayana's picks, shall we?

1) Filigree Centerpiece- When I look at the Filigree Centerpiece image, I simply think: “pure elegance”. I just adore the classiness and stylish design of this image. One of my favorite things to do is to stamp it down multiple times in order to create an elegant background for a card. However, it can still be used as a main focal point too. It really is such a beautiful design!

2) Teddy Bear- I absolutely adore this little bear for one single reason---> CUTENESS!!! He just makes me smile! I think he’s just so perfect for any baby cards or new arrivals, showers, etc. I used the “Teddy Bear” image once on some baby party favors, and it was just the perfect touch! You can color him in or even just paper-piece him together. One of the great things about this particular Teddy Bear image is the fact that it can be used for both a boy and/or a girl. There are no limitations when it comes to this adorable bear!

3) Large Winter Tree- I never realized just how many things one could create with just a single bare tree image. Immediately after the first time that I inked up the Large Winter Tree stamp, I figured out just how versatile this tree really was. In the past, I have transformed this tree into a “Rhinestone Tree”, an “Apple Tree”, and even a “Button Tree”. One can even add leaves to the tree using one of the various styles of leaves that DeNami also carries in a few of their Petit Fours collection. Depending on what leaf is used will determine what “season” the tree is appropriate for. I always love a stamp that can be used in more than one way! This Large Winter Tree image is definitely one of those kinds of stamps!

4) Boutique Buttons- Hands down, in comparison to many of the other stamp companies, DeNami has one of the most amazing assortments of buttons. They are offered in so many fabulous colors! My two favorite assortments are “Bubblegum” and “Espresso”. I just these boutique buttons and the variety in colors, shapes, textures, and sizes.

5) Polka Dot Background- I LOVE background stamps of all sorts. I also LOVE polka-dots of all sizes. That’s why I was beyond excited when I first saw this particular “Polka Dot Background” stamp. What more could I ask for? Two of my favorite things combined into one image!... Ahh, It was love at first sight! :)

Be sure to head over to Ayana's blog to see a card with some of her favorite products PLUS the way she stores her DeNami items!

I hope you all have a GREAT weekend. If you haven't already, be sure to check out the current DeNami challenge- we'd LOVE for you to join along in the fun!

Laurie's Favorite Things

Hello there!

Goodness gracious, we have had so many exciting things on the DeNami blog this week! From announcing some lucky winners to the theme of the next blog hop to a new card kit. If you missed ANY of it, be sure to check it out!

It's time for the next "Favorite Things" installment, this time we are featuring DeNami DT member, Laurie!

1) Petit Fours- I am a huge fan! These are a great way to make your own patterned paper. Being able to coordinate your paper with your main image is a bonus! You don't have to hunt down the right colors for the background, you can just make your own! I love that!

2) Scallop Square- I absolutely love the Scalloped Square! SO many possibilities! I love that it can be stamped in a light colors with a sentiment over the top! It is such a great "grounding" image and then of course can be used for "build-your-own" patterned paper!

3) Circle stamps- Next, I can't narrow it down to one, so I will just say I love all the stitched and dotted squares and circles! I love the way these stamps give a border to a punched out shape and a frame to a small image! This gives great dimension when you can punch the shapes out and pop them up on your project!

4) Ribbon- DeNami's selection of ribbon is fantastic! The grosgrain ribbon makes the best bows!

5) Heart Flower Trio- My most favorite image so far is (J104) Heart Flower Trio! This image is gorgeous, versatile and fun! It makes the most beautiful CAS cards when paired with just about any sentiment!

6) Boutique Buttons- I am a button junkie so, I totally love their selection!

I hope today's post inspired you to check out some new products! Be sure to head over to Laurie's blog for a super cute card featuring some of her "Favorite Things"!

I hope you all have a GREAT weekend. Just a quick reminder: there is ONE DAY left to participate in the button challenge that we posted with our blog hop. There is a guaranteed spot on the Floral Frenzy Blog Hop + you'll get to choose a few stamps of your choice!

I will see you on Monday for our next challenge!

Lisa's Favorite Things

Happy Friday to you!

Hasn't the design team blown you away this week? Each and every time they upload their cards, my jaw drops. They all have such unique styles and color combinations, but one thing they all share: they all ROCK DeNami stamps! Couldn't be more thrilled and proud to have them on our team.

I hope that you all have been enjoying the "Favorite Things" features! I know I personally love seeing each of the DT's choices, and then also seeing the cards they have created using some of their picks! Today I have the sweet Lisa's picks.....

1) Large Chickie- I have been known to dress this little guy/girl up for a variety of occasions! A leprechaun hat and shamrock for St. Patrick's Day, a diaper and bottle to welcome a new baby, a tie for Father's Day, a crown and eyelashes for a little princess birthday party---the possibilities are endless! And trust me...you will see Chickie in many more outfits on my blog in the near future!

2) Large Open Umbrella- I love this image because it's so whimsical and cute! It's perfect for paper piecing, which is one of my favorite techniques, or for coloring! It looks fabulous with a coat of Crystal Lacquer too! You can use it as a focal point or to create a background! You can jazz it up with glitter or by adhering rhinestones or pom-poms to the tips!

3) Large Winter Tree- The name of this tree may be Large Winter Tree, but with the help of the DeNami Design Petit Fours stamp sets you can really decorate this tree for any season or occasion! For example, the newly released Spring Chicks Stamp Set and Elegant Floral Stamp Set would be perfect for decorating a spring tree! And wouldn't the little eggs from the Easter Stamp Set look darling hanging from the branches of the tree for Easter?!?! And how about an apple tree for a special teacher using the Apples and Pears Stamp Set?!?!

4) Harlequin Border- This stamp creates really fun borders and backgrounds! I recently paired it up with the Stitched Border to make an argyle pattern and loved the results! It's also fun to dress up this pattern with glitter or by adding pearls or rhinestones or brads to the points of the diamonds!

5) Three Line Border- This stamp is so versatile that I find myself reaching for it again and again! It's perfect for creating stripes, plaids, and checkers! It looks great stamped in a single color or in multiple colors! You can glitter it up or leave it plain!

6) Everyday Greetings set- This is such a handy set to have because it includes sentiments that I use so frequently on cards and tags! Plus the fonts are absolutely ADORABLE!

7) Hearts set- The moment I saw this set my mind was racing with ideas about different ways to use it! I recently created a little flower by stamping the polka dot heart 4 times to create the petals of the flower and placing a brad in the center. My flower was bright pink, but if you used green ink instead it would make a fantastic shamrock for St. Patrick's Day! The hearts are also perfect for wedding cards and look so stunning when heat embossed in any color! They're also ideal for creating backgrounds or for layering with the Small Scallop Heart.

Wowee, so many great picks! I have to say, that Lisa chose some of our most popular stamps, so it's evident that YOU all love these ones too!  Be sure to head over to Lisa's blog to see a couple projects with these images and also see how she keeps track of her DeNami stamps!

I hope you all have a GREAT weekend. If you haven't already, be sure to check out the current DeNami challenge- we'd LOVE for you to join along in the fun!

Michele's Favorite Things

Hello, DeNami friends!

It's time for our second installment of "Favorite Things"...this time, we are featuring our ever-so-talented, Michele!

1) Solid Decorative Crest- Oh how I adore this stamp!  It is lovely stamped repeatedly as a subtle background. Its fabulous on its own and bling added to it makes it even better! You can also stamp it 4 times around to create a medallion that is absolutely stunning!

2) Spring Chicks set- Just too adorable for words!

3) Large Winter Tree- Such a wonderful tree with its whimsical shape.  I have the best time decorating it.  The owls love sitting in it, as do the sweet little tweety birds :)  You can fill it with fruit or flowers or even buttons.  Its also fabulous in glitter!

4)  Apples & Pears set- Are you getting the whole tree theme here?  I love that there is both a solid and outline version of each.  Such fun background stamps and delightful on the tree too!  They are stunning when you add glitter to them!

5) Medium Polka Dots-I just love polka dots and this makes such a fun background! I also love that it makes wonderful patterns for paper piecing.

6)  Whimsical Flowers set- I use this set almost every time I play with my tree stamp.  The leaves are just perfect for fruit trees and the flowers are wonderful as backgrounds too.

I hope today's post inspired you to check out some new stamps, and also gave you an idea on how to  store your DeNami stamps. Be sure to head over to Michele's blog for a super cute card featuring some of her "Favorite Things"!

Have a wonderful weekend. We'll see you on Monday for the next DeNami challenge!

Wendy's Favorite Things

Happy Friday!

I am so excited about this new feature we're bringing to the DeNami blog. I was trying to think of a way where you could get to know our design team a little better (because they are AMAZING). After pondering what I could do, I thought it'd be fun to do this feature called "Favorite Things".

Each Friday for the next couple of months, I'll bring you a design team member and they're fabulous picks. You'll be able to see the products, and also read why they like those particular items. In addition, each DT member will feature a card with some of their favorite things, PLUS you just might see pictures of how they store their DeNami products. :)

To kick off this new feature, we're going to start with Wendy!

1) ATG Dispenser and adhesive:  I love how versatile it is!  I can attach cardstock, ribbon, & buttons with this one tool.... super strong hold, yet repositionable if you need it.

2) Quickie Glue Pen: This is the perfect tool to adhere the Extra Fine Glitter with.  It has nice, even coverage and the glitter sticks great.

3) Glitter Ribbon- My favorite color is the chocolate. A simple strip of the glitter ribbon adds the perfect touch.

4) Glitter:  DeNami glitter is the best!  It is so fine, sparkly, and is available in 22 fabulous colors.

5) Polka Dot Background Stamp:  I love how I can make custom polka dot paper.

I know this post was longer than normal....thanks for sticking with me. Hope today's post inspired you with storage ideas, and possibly some products to check out. Be sure to head over to Wendy's blog for a fabulous card featuring some of her "Favorite Things"!

Have a great weekend; we'll see you on Monday!
