Happy Gift Packaging Idea
4:00 AM
Hello, DeNami Design Friends!
It’s Lisa P. Today
I’m sharing a cute and fun way to decorate a gift package. The idea is
to create a hand-stamped gift wrap sash. This works especially well for
wrapping up books and/or journals.
I
cut a 3” x 16” strip of white butcher paper and stamped a bunch of
images from DeNami Design’s newest release onto the strip (Note: The
size of the strip will vary depending on the size of the item you’re
wrapping.). Since I’m wrapping up a children’s book, I chose images that
coordinated with the theme of the book. The fun part of this is that
you can decorate the sashes any way you want to. If the gift recipient
loves owls, you could use owl images. If it’s for a birthday, you could
use cupcake and candle images. If it’s for a particular holiday, you
could decorate the sash to go with whatever holiday you’re celebrating.
Fun, right?!?!
Here’s a look at my sash:
I
used markers to add color to the images and folded the sash along the
long edges to create a nice clean look. To finish, I wrapped up a
children’s book in kraft butcher paper, wrapped the gift wrap sash
around it, and tied on some baker’s twine. Check it out:
So simple, but a great way to add a personalized touch to your gift wrapping!
Hope you like my project for today! Thanks for visiting!

Sending You Sunshine Rainbow Card
12:21 PM
Hello, DeNami Design Friends!
It’s Lisa P. This
week our DT projects are all about the great outdoors. I created a card
featuring several of DeNami Design’s newest stamps.
I
think this would be a sweet card to send to a friend or family member
who’s going through a tough time. All of those happy faces are sure to
bring a smile! Here’s a closer look:
I
stamped the images and sentiment onto a die-cut rectangle, added color
with markers, added sparkle with a glitter pen, and tied on some baker’s
twine. I die-cut a slightly larger rectangle from patterned paper,
adhered it to a white card base and then added my stamped panel on top
with foam tape. So simple!
Thanks for visiting today! Hope your week is off to a fantastic start!

Mini Butterfly Enjoy Card
4:00 AM
Hi Friends,
Today Lisa is featuring a very quick and easy card that uses just two stamps. This is a great card when you have lots of tiny stamps. You can stamp them in lots of shapes and patterns. She made this tiny butterfly into a lovely butterfly trail and used a rainbow of colors. To add dimension, you can add the 3D Crystal Lacquer for dimensional shine.
Here's is how she did it:

Hey there!
It’s Lisa P, and today I’m sharing a card that features the sweet little butterfly that’s included in the recently released CRM04 Panda Pals Stamp Set. Just look at what an impact a tiny image can make when stamped repeatedly:

I actually traced a snow drifts border die lightly in pencil to create the
guidelines for my butterfly pattern. Then I stamped the butterflies, colored
them with markers, and erased my pencil lines. I finished off the card with a
simple sentiment and a touch of sparkle on each butterfly.
I’ll be giving this card to my neighbor friend, Donna, for her birthday in
early August. Hope it makes her smile!
Thanks for stopping by! Before I go, I want to extend a big thank you to my
talented blog friend, Jen W, for the inspiration for this card. You can find her

Count Your Rainbows Card
7:34 AM
Hi DeNami friends,
DT Lisa created a lovely card to brighten up someone you care about. Being on social media makes me all the more aware of people being sick, going through loss, facing life changes, etc. There are many people I know that can just use a friend to let them know they are not alone and to remind them of what they truly have. For me, it often takes hard times to, all the more, appreciate the good times. I would imagine you are like me, as well as your friends.
When I designed the stamp F241 "Count Your Rainbows, Not Your Storms", it really spoke to me about looking at the bright side, because there is always a bright side. It's all in perspective.
Recently, having been struck with diverticulitis (you can read about it here) and being in bed for 3 weeks, I had to face looking at the bright side myself. It made me grateful for what I did have. I was grateful for medication that could make me better eventually, I was grateful that it was a temporary condition, vs those that face cancer and might not know if they are going to get better. I was grateful for my family who helped me face it day by day. I was grateful for friends who came to cheer me up.... I could go on and on.
I am better now, but those lessons I learned will be engraved on my heart forever. I don't know what you are facing, but keep counting your rainbows. There are many, you just have to look intently at times.
I hope today you will find a rainbow in your day.

Here's Lisa's heartwarming card. Enjoy!
Hello, crafty friends! Lisa P here with an uplifting Springtime card using a fun technique and one of my all-time favorite DeNami Design sentiments.
To start, I took a white cardstock panel and inked it up with four
different distress ink colors (in rainbow order).
I cut a vellum panel (same size as the cardstock panel), and embossed the
CL-F241 Count Your Rainbows sentiment onto the panel with white embossing
powder. I adhered the vellum over the top of the inked panel and just look at
how the vellum really softens those ink colors. So pretty. (Note: Even though I
used a vellum adhesive, I can still see the adhesive at the top of my focal
panel. If I were to recreate this card, I would only use the adhesive behind the
umbrella accent or use ribbon at the top to better hide the adhesive. Live and
learn, right??)
I couldn’t resist paper piecing the J135 Large Open Umbrella image with
some polka dot patterned paper, and I also embossed polka dots onto the larger
white panel beneath it as well. And the 4mm Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty
Pink Posh make perfect raindrops.
I hope you like my card for today and feel inspired to try out this
technique!
Have a wonderful day!!!
