Winter Button Tree

Hello DeNami friends!

Today I have a card that was part of this seasons National Class program. We had a class called Buttons, Bows & Bling, which was a big hit. Don't you just love that name? As you can guess, we used our Boutique Buttons, rhinestones and ribbons. All things we LOVE here on the DeNami blog. :)

This card features the Winter Evergreen Tree, which tends to get overlooked by our other tree. I particularly love this image because it has lots of branches- perfect for adding extra elements! On the background we used the Snowflakes stamp set and the sentiment is from the Holiday Greetings stamp set. Add a few of the yummy Bubblegum buttons and you have a sweet holiday card.

You'll want to be sure to stop by the blog tomorrow. DeNami DT member, Michele and I (Paulina) have created some Hanukkah cards that we are excited to share! See you then!

Stamps: Winter Evergreen Tree, Snowflakes stamp set, Holiday Greetings stamp set
Paper: Cream, Aquamarine, Chocolate Satin
Other: Baby Blue grosgrain, Bubblegum Boutique Buttons

I've used button a couple of times. Still learning the basics on this type of add-on.

I don't use buttons much because it's too bulky for mailing.

I haven't yet, but I just bought a bag of itsy, bitsy buttons and was planning on making a "You're cute as a button" card. What a great idea to have the buttons as accents on tree branches and then to have the saying on the inside!

I absolutely use buttons! In fact, I just used buttons all over my card for the current challenge. I will be posting it within the next day or two (as soon as I have time).

I don't use buttons on cards because I don't like the thickness that makes it harder to mail.

I LOVE to use buttons on my cards! Now, if we could just score a deal with the postal service so we didn't have to pay extra to mail them---that would be really nice!
