DT Lisa P made an adorable Easter treat that you can give or put in an Easter basket. How fun to make something this cute and it is so simple to do!

These adorable faces are so versatile for so many projects. I love how Lisa used it in such a new and fresh way.
She writes:

Hello there! It’s Lisa P. with one final Easter idea to share. I recently spent some time babysitting my two and a half year old niece in Pittsburgh. She loves to play with Play-Doh (and I have to confess…so do I). We had LOTS of fun together! So, for Easter I wanted to send her some additional colors of Play-Doh to add to her collection, and I wanted to wrap them in some kind of cute and creative way. Here’s what I came up with:

Aren’t they cute??? And they’re super easy to make.

Little Chick:

Step 1: Stamp the D123 Small Stitched Circle in VersaMark ink onto a yellow piece of cardstock. Stamp the little chick face from PF54 Animal Faces Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink in the center of the circle and color with markers. Punch out the circle with a 1” circle punch. Punch out two 1 1/2” scalloped circles from the same yellow cardstock and score each at 7/8”.

 

Step 2: Wrap a 12”x12” sheet of yellow tissue paper around a Play-Doh Plus container and secure with baker’s twine at the top. (Note: The Play-Doh Plus containers are smaller than regular Play-Doh containers. They measure 2 1/8” tall by 2 1/4” wide at the widest part of the lid.) Tie on a bow with ribbon. Adhere the pieces from Step 1 as shown.

Little Bunny:

Step 1: Stamp the D123 Small Stitched Circle in Smokey Gray Versafine ink onto a white piece of cardstock. Stamp the little bunny face from PF54 Animal Faces Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink in the center of the circle. Color the nose pink and add some whiskers with a black pen. Punch out the circle with a 1” circle punch. Punch out one 1 1/2” scalloped circle from white cardstock. Adhere the circle to the scalloped circle.

Step 2: Wrap two sheets of 12”x12” white tissue paper around a Play-Doh Plus container, splitting the bunch at the top into two parts. Secure each bunch with baker’s twine. Adhere the pieces from Step 1 as shown. Add a cotton ball for a tail.
