Hi DeNami Friends,

Elizabeth here with another project! It's hot here in Cincinnati and I thought it would be awesome to be by the pool with a nice drink so I'm using that for inspiration this week! It's always more fun hanging out by the pool with a cool drink and some friends!

To create my card I created the background using the Stitched Border and happy cocktails set. For the stitched border I used orange and green dye ink. For the cocktails I used a Copic friendly ink and colored them with some bright Copic colors (see supplies listed below for the colors used). The owl is the new Medium Chillin' Owl with the new You Make Life More Fun stamp. Both of these are stamped in Copic friendly ink and colored in with Copic markers. I die cut it with a stitched circle die and then with a stitched rectangle die to keep the stitching all the way around. I also used the stitched rectangle die on the background piece. I made an A2 card base from some yellow cardstock and adhered everything with my tape runner. I hope that this card inspires you to create some summer themed cards using the new stamps! It’s Lisa P. This week our design team is sharing Father’s Day projects featuring images from DeNami Design’s brand new release! (Isn’t the new release amazing?!?! If you missed the sneak peeks and release…you’ll definitely want to check it out! It’s filled with over-the-top cuteness!!!)

When I travel back east to visit my parents and brothers, we have a tradition of going to Primanti’s for beers and sammies. So, when I saw the NEW CL-PF69 Happy Drinks set I knew that bottle image was perfect for my dad’s Father’s Day card this year.

I stamped the bottle image twice, angling each to make it look like they were clinking, and added color with markers. I masked the images and stamped the J16 Small Splatter over top. Then, I stamped the bottle image two more times onto a scrap piece of white cardstock, colored them with markers, fussy cut them, and adhered them on top of the previously stamped bottle images with foam tape. This adds a bit of dimension to the card. I stamped the CL-F211 Happy Father’s Day sentiment below the splatter. To finish, I die-cut a PPPD19 Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Speech Bubble from white cardstock, stamped the word “cheers” onto it and added it above the bottles.
