Shake It Up With Gift Tags!

Hello DeNami Friends!

You just wrapped the perfect gift for the birthday party that you’re going to and you need a gift tag! You could go to the store and buy one but why do that when you are crafty. Shake things up with a shaker gift tag! You don’t need a lot of supplies, so you can make it quickly!

You need a set of dies that nest to create your shaker. For mine I used a set of balloon dies. You will use the largest die three times. Once to create the back of the shaker and again for the front with the smaller die nested inside to create the window. The last time that you use the largest die is to cut the acetate for the window. You may need to run this through your machine a couple of times to get it to cut all the way around. Adhere the acetate to front to finish making the window. On the back of the of the back piece I used the Small Happy Birthday in black ink. Next, cut foam tape to go around the window to create the enclosure that will hold all your shaker bits. I place my shaker bits on the back piece and adhere the window to the back my peeling off the tape off the foam tape. I used twine to finish them and give them that nice finishing detail.
