Happy Monster Birthday Card- Guest Designer
4:00 AM
We welcome back Anika Lerche for another cute and fun card. She created this adorable birthday card using the monster and balloon stamp. This is great for sending cheer or any kind of celebration.
She was so clever to make a bouquet of balloons with the one balloon that is on the stamp itself. So creative! You can also just create a balloon bouquet for any other kind of cards separately. The possibilities are endless.
We are so delighted to have featured Anika with us. Be sure to subscribe so you don't miss any of our guest posts. You never know who will be next.
- I stamped the monster onto Copic friendly paper, masked it with a post it note and stamped some additional balloons. After that I colored the image with Copics.
- I masked the monster once gain, this time with masking fluid and added some inkblending to the background to create a sky.
- I stamped the sentiment with Versafine.
- I die cute the square from that piece of paper, added a layer of kraft cardstock.
- To the cardbase I adhered a piece of patterned paper an assembled the card.

All About Layers- Day 2 "Monster Birthday Card)
4:00 AM
Hi Everyone!
I always feel like birthday cards for boys are little harder than ones for girls. This week I made a birthday card for boys using Happy Monster Party and layering 2 border stamps to create my background. I have to say that this one of my favorite boy birthday cards that I have created!
To create the background, I used the Three Line Border and Stitched Border stamps to create a fun plaid background. The colors for background are yellow, red, light blue, and green dye inks. I chose the colors to coordinate with the monsters. The monsters were stamped in black ink and colored in with Copic markers. Next, I cut out the frame and the monsters using the same die. The die creates both a frame and the panel so I used the both the panel piece for the monsters and the frame that it cut out of the white cardstock. I ran the die through again with the red polka dot pattern paper to create the red frame. Next, I adhered the red frame to the white cardstock frame to add a little dimension. To assemble the card, I adhered the plaid panel on my base and then my frame at an angle on top of that. Last, I placed the monsters inside the frame.
I think this card is so cute and fun to give to a boy for his birthday! I hope that you enjoyed my card this week!

Monster Pop-up Card
5:50 AM
Hello! It’s Lisa P here. Have you ever made a pop-up card? They are super
fun to create and DeNami Design’s pop-up card templates really simplify the
process. Today I’m sharing a pop-up card I created using the adorable CR03
Monster Celebrations Stamp Set!
I started with a standard A2-size card base. I stamped the “HOORAY” monster
image from CR03 Monster Celebrations and colored it with markers. I added the
CL-E175 Balloon Trio and paper pieced the balloons with patterned papers. And
what’s a party without sparkle?!?! With the help of a GL-01 Quickie Glue Pen and
some SS02 Extra Fine Sparklets Glitter, the “HOORAY” really shimmers!
I set the card base aside and grabbed a Tiered Pop-Up Card Template. Using
a craft knife, I carefully cut along the solid lines. Then, I scored and folded
along the dotted lines (making sure the printed guidelines were facing toward
the back). Then I went to work creating what would end up being the inside of
the card. I stamped a bunch of the monster images from CR03 Monster Celebrations
onto scraps of white cardstock, colored them in with markers, did a little paper
piecing on some of the images and cut them out leaving a thin white border
around their edges. I adhered the images to the various parts of the pop-up card
and added some extra details including some balloons, a scalloped border at the
top and a sentiment at the bottom.
So now THIS will be what the recipient finds when he/she opens the
card:
Isn’t that fun?!?! Makes me smile every time I open it up!
I also added some more glittery sparkle to the inside (on the edge of the
scalloped border and on the “YAY!”). Here’s a closer look:
Once the inside was finished, I placed adhesive on the back side of the
pop-up panel and adhered it to the inside of my card base. And there you have
it! A card with a built-in surprise!
So, what do you think?!?! Are you ready to make a pop-up card??? If you
do…be sure to share it with us! We love seeing your creations!
Thanks for visiting today!

Hooray! A Monster Celebration
7:05 AM
Hi DeNami Friends!
DT Deb W came up with a cheerful and uplifting post. These happy projects will bring a smile to anyone needing cheer and celebration.
I love the color and the sentiment it is bringing. Read along and find out how you can create your own shaker card and coordinating treat.
You can easily take the same concept and create a lovely birthday card, bridal shower or graduation card. For the graduation card, just stick the graduation cap on the little furry monster and your have your grad. The graduation cap can be found here.

Hello DeNami friends! It’s Deb and today I have a little project to share with you that I created using Monster Celebrations clear stamp set. This set is super cute and fun to work with. It’s a shame that this stamp set didn’t exist when my kids had their joint monster birthday party last summer. Oh well. So glad that I get to play with it now.
Here are the two projects together. Bright and cheerful.
Thanks for stopping by!

It’s a shame that this stamp set didn’t exist when my kids had their joint monster birthday party last summer. Oh well. So glad that I get to play with it now.
For my project, I decided to create a shaker style card.
My little monster is shouting Hooray and this style card is perfect for the
sentiment. I still had some patterned paper left over from my kid’s actual
monster birthday party. I thought it would be perfect to use! I colored in my
sentiment in rainbow color to go along with the striped paper. Paulina has a
great tutorial that you can find here to learn how to create this style card. I
used a bunch of her Pretty Pink Posh sequins. By the way, did you know that
DeNami now carries Pretty Pink Posh dies? Woot-woot!
For my cupcake/muffin topper, I inked up another monster
and one of the smaller sentiments and colored it in with my copics. I punched
it out with a 1 ¾ in circle punch. Then I attached it to the inset that was
leftover from the card. I used a piece of tape to attach it to a toothpick and
stuck it in. The cupcake liner was another leftover from the monster birthday
party that I never tossed. Good thing, huh?

Earlier today, I did a post about the Monster chocolate candies as shown in the middle of this pic below. You can find the post here.
Hi Friends,
This is part 2 of Day 2's Sneak Peeks. Aren't those the cutest faces you could ever see? Look! One even has glasses.
These faces are part of the NEW Monster Love and Monster Celebrations Clear Stamp Sets (available January 5, 2015)
Supplies needed:
CR02 Monster Love Clear Stamp Set (available January 5, 2015)
CR03 Monster Celebrations Clear Stamp Set (available January 5, 2015)
Colored paper or cardstock available from DeNami here
Gloves from dollar store
Packs of gum
Ribbons
Instructions:
Start with packs of gum. Wrap them in colored paper or cardstock.
I used DeNami's cardstock available here.
Stamp the Monsters from the sets using Versafine Onyx Black on white cardstock, color them in with Tombow markers or any water based markers. Cut them out and attach to the gum using ATG adhesive.
Stamp the polka dot to make buttons using the Versafine Onyx Black.
Cut off fingers from gloves found at the dollar store. Fold over to create a cuff and slip on the gum pack.
Cut off about 6 inches of ribbon and tie a knot to create a scarf.
Aren't they darling??
Here they are in the Boutique Box (3x3x1)
