Graduation Owl Card
4:00 AM
Hi Everyone!
Graduation season is upon us and I was completely not
prepared for it! This card is my favorite kind of card: fast and simple! I
wanted to make a card that could be used for kids under high school because it
is hard to find graduation cards for them.
To make this card, I found some cute pattern paper in my
stash that I have had for a while. It came from paper pad that had papers for
all the seasons of the year. I stamped the owl in black ink on white cardstock
and colored him in with Copic markers. I stamped the dot circle border around
the owl in yellow die ink and used a scalloped circle paper punch to cut him
out. Next, I stamped Congratulations on white cardstock and trimmed it out with
with scissors to have a flag end. Lastly, I adhered to an A2 card base. I used
a tape runner for the the pattern paper panel and the sentiment. For the owl, I
used foam tape to add a little dimension to the card. On the envelope, I
stamped the owl in black ink. I hope that you enjoyed my card and I will be
back next week with another card!

Wedding Week -Day 3 "Wedding Owls"
4:00 AM
Hi DeNami friends,
Today I want t show you this wedding card that I made using the cute owl love birds. I wanted to make a really simple and easy card and didn't want to include too many colors. I started off stamping the owls on white cardstock and colored them in with alcohol markers.
For
the card itself, I die cut a banner from white cardstock and stamped
the sentiment "Congratulations you tied the knot" with black ink. Using
an embossing folder, I embossed the front part of a standard white
notecard and adhered the banner piece to it using foam tape to give it a
little bit of dimension. The owls were adhered to the bottom center of
the banner using glue dots.
To finish off the card I included white and gold baker's twine and tied a
bow (or a knot...) at the bottom of the card. I hope you enjoyed this
card as much as I did.

Wedding Week- Day 2 "Beautiful Bride Card"
4:00 AM
Hi Everyone!
This week’s theme is wedding. Weddings are such a special day for the happy couple and giving them a thoughtful and beautiful card for their wedding is a great way to show them that you love them and are happy for them.
The card that I made is simple yet beautiful. First, I stamped the Mimi Bride on white cardstock and colored her in using Copic markers and I did a little shading to add some depth to Mimi. Next, I die cut her with a stitched rectangle die because I wanted the stitched edge around her. After going through my large stash of paper and cardstock, I found a very pretty pearlized rose pattern paper. I cut it to cover the front of an A2 card and adhered it using my tape runner. After that, I adhered Mimi to card with part of the right side hanging off the card and I trimmed the part that was hanging over. For the sentiment, I stamped Congratulations on white metallic cardstock and die cut it with a banner die. The banner was adhered to the card with foam tape to add some dimension. To add a little sparkle, I placed three white glitter enamel dots in the top left corner of card. I hope that you enjoyed my card this week! Until next week!

Wedding Week- Day 1 "Congrats Card"
4:00 AM
Happy Monday, DeNami Design Friends!
It’s
Lisa P. This week our design team is featuring projects with a wedding
theme. DeNami Design has a wide variety of images in their collection
for creating whimsical and elegant cards for weddings and engagements. I
used a combination of three stamp sets on my card for today.
I
started with a blank piece of white cardstock and then went to town
stamping the cake, hearts, flowers, and doves. I didn’t follow any
particular pattern, I just had fun with it. Then, I took a rectangle die
and die-cut a portion of this stamped panel. I colored in parts of each
image with markers and added a touch of sparkle with a glitter pen. I
matted the stamped rectangle with a 4.25” x 5.5” black cardstock
rectangle, and adhered that to an A2 white card base. To finish, I
die-cut a stitched label, stamped the “congrats” sentiment onto it, and
adhered it to the upper right-hand corner of the card.
Here’s a closer look:
I had so much fun making this card! I hope you like it!!!
Have a wonderful week!

Monster Celebration Card and Guest Blogger from Switzerland
4:00 AM
Hi Friends,
I am excited to introduce a crafter from Switzerland today. I saw her word on Instagram and enjoy seeing her lovely projects. She will be doing several guest posts for us so stay tuned!
We asked her to share a little bit about herself so you can get to know her better. Below that is her description and project. Please welcome her!
~Nami
My name is Francine. I live in Switzerland in the wonderful Three Lakes Region with my sweetheart and our cats (I'm an animal lover!). I'm bilingual in German and French from birth. I discovered scrapbooking and cardmaking in 2009 by leafing through a book and it was love at first sight! I like playing with different styles and techniques. It depends on my mood and inspiration. bit I always love coloring rainbow and bright colors, making splatters, using stencils and blending tools, paint brushes and watercolors. I started my blog called 1001 Cartes (1001 cards) in 2011 and my YouTube Channel in 2014. I'm also sharing work in progress pictures on Instagram @francinevuilleme

Hi everyone! Francine here!
Today,
I'm super excited to share my first card with you. I'll be back the
next two Thursdays with more creations. Thanks so much to Nami for the
opportunity!
For this card, I decided to
feature the Monster
Celebrations stamp set. These monsters are TOO CUTE!
First, I colored the monsters with Copic markers and fussy cut them. To make the image pop against the
background, I kept the design simple. I chose to make tiny splatters with a spritzer
tool over a top-folded white card base. To accentuate the effect, I also
sponged a thin layer of Salty Ocean Distress ink in the center.
Next, I adhered the monsters with foam pads to the card for more
dimension. To finish off my card, I added some adhesive pearls here and
there for a festive look.
I hope you like this card! See you soon with other fun creations showcasing DeNami Designs stamp sets!
