Sail Away Gift Box

here with another project for DeNami Design. Summer is here and everyone is
having summer parties so I thought I would give you a great idea for a little
party favor for your parties. I made a Sailboat Owl Gift Favor Box. If you are having
a nautical themed party this will be perfect for you but you can easily change
this for any party!
This is a quick and easy project so making them won’t take
that long! To make this box I die cut the stripe using a milk carton die. To
create the milk carton you will need 2 sheets of 6x6 paper. You want to make
sure that you use a good quality paper so that the box will hold up. To
assemble the box, I creased all the fold lines before I adhered everything
together. I used my tape runner to assemble the box. For the Sailboat Owl, I
stamped the Medium Dot Circle Frame in blue dye ink and then the Medium
Sailboat Owl in black ink on smooth white cardstock. To color in the owl, I
used Copic markers to do some quick coloring. I used a scalloped circle punch
to cut out the owl and agreed it to the box with foam tape. I found some
clothes line clips in my stash and there just happen to be yellow, so I used it
to close the top of the box.

Coffee Gift Card Box
Hi Everyone!
Elizabeth here with another post for DeNami Designs. I know a lot of coffee drinkers but personally I’m not one of them. I don’t like coffee at all. So I struggle with what to get coffee loving friends and family. Then I figured out that there is no better gift than a gift card to their favorite coffee shop and for most of my friends and family that is Starbucks. I used Starbucks colors as the inspiration for making a gift card box.
This project is very easy and fast to make, so you can make lots of them for birthdays, holidays and even parties! First I made the gift card box using a pillow box die. I chose a pattern paper that is white with green polka dots. Assembling the boxes easy! Just fold the 2 score lines that die creates for you and use tape runner or liquid glue on the tab. The ends of the box have flaps that you just fold in. One of the flaps has a notch and I do recommend folding that flap in first to get a clean look. Next, I stamps the Medium Happy-Cino on smooth white cardstock and colored it in with Copic markers. I kept the coloring simple by not doing any shading but if you want to, you can because the image is large enough. I used a scalloped circle punch to cut out the coffee and then adhered it with liquid glue. I hope that you enjoyed my project for today and that it inspires you to make some fun gift card boxes!

Week of Gifts and Favors- Day 4 Chocolate Box
Hello DeNami Friends!
Today I wanted to show you this gift box that I made. To make it I used this sweet bunny stamp by DeNami Design and a free cutting file by Brother that you can find on the Canvas website for the Scan'N'Cut. It's not super big (but I resized it so it fit on an A4 cardstock) but I was able to fit two pieces of chocolate inside.
I used a pastel yellow cardstock to cut out the box and it's super simple to assemble. To embellish my box I die cut a flower border from green, red and orange cardstock and adhered the individual pieces together. Before adhering it to to the box, I stamped the sentiment "Celebrating You" with VersaMark ink and embossed it with gold embossing powder.
I think the cute stamps by DeNami Design are perfect to embellish gift boxes like this!

Week of Gifts and Favors- Day 2 Pillow Boxes and Milk Cartons
Hello DeNami Friends!
Giving small treats is always fun and when you have a cute
little box to put them in it’s even better! A lot of DeNami’s designs are
perfect for projects like these!
For these projects I used dies to cut the pattern papers and
assemble the gift boxes. The pattern papers came from a 6x6 pads that I bought
specifically with these in mind. I assembled the boxes using a tape runner. For
the images I picked a couple of different stamps and stamped them in Copic
friendly ink on white cardstock. I kept the coloring simple with Copic markers.
To cut out the images I used a scalloped punch and adhered them with foam tape
to the boxes. These are fun and simple little boxes that you can create in a
snap! I hope that you enjoyed my projects! Until next time!

Adorable Glass Necklaces and Magnets
Hi Friends!
The holidays is the season to give. Why shortchange yourself the blessing of giving just because you are money poor? Today I will show you how to make darling gifts that cost you hardly anything to make, but is boutique quality and looks like you spent a mint.
Aren't these necklaces adorable! They look like the kind you can buy from a gift shop or boutique.
The first are necklaces that I made using flat glass bubbles that I found at the craft store. They are a little over an 1 inch across.
The stamps used are all DeNami Design stamps. There are so many to choose from for all occasions. You can even use a portion of a stamp because you will just punch it out.
2) Then I took a 1 inch circle punch MV-01 to cut out the images to fit behind the glass bubbles.
3) I added a small amount of 3D Crystal lacquer CL01 to the back of the glass bubble and then slowly pressed on the stamped image, making sure it was tightly pressed onto the back of the bubble with no air bubbles. Make sure you don't put too much as it will ooze behind the punch out and will need to be wiped off.
4) Allow to dry completely.
5) Glue on necklace bails using a E-6000 adhesive or similar that can attach metal to the glass.
6) Thread the chain in the bail after it is dry and package your necklace.

You can make magnets instead. Just attach a magnet instead of the bail and chain.

Supplies Needed to Make Glass Pendant Necklaces
-Markers (Tombow) if using Versafine or Copic if using Memento
-Necklace Bails
-Ball necklaces or chains
Optional: Strong Circle magnets if you prefer to make magnets
How to Make the Glass Pendant Necklaces
1) First I stamped my stamp images in Versafine TK-VF082 and colored with markers. You can use Memento TK-ME900 if you are using Copic markers.The stamps used are all DeNami Design stamps. There are so many to choose from for all occasions. You can even use a portion of a stamp because you will just punch it out.

How to Package the Glass Necklaces
1) Cut out White Cardstock PC21 into a hair less than 3x3 inch squares
2) Stamp I62 For You Circle in Black ink in the middle of the cardstock.
3) Add a strip of ATG100 adhesive in the middle of the I62 For you Circle and attach pendant.
4) Put the chain in a little baggie and attach the bag to the back of the cardstock with ATG100.
I had to fold over the little bag to make it smaller to fit.
5) Add a strip of ATG100 to the back of the cardstock, both top and bottom and slide
it into the 3x3 clear box. The adhesive will prevent the necklace and card from moving around too much.

Candy Cane Chickie Treats
Hi DeNami friends,

Here is how Tammy made these sweet treats in her own words:
It's Tammy, and I have a little "treat" to share with you here on the DeNami Blog!
I used the CB400 Clear Boutique Boxes
that come 10 to a pack and filled them with some festive Hershey
Kisses! I added a length of red grosgrain ribbon around the box
vertically and secured with hot glue. Next I used a snowflake Rosette
die to create my focal point for the treats.
The real show stopper is our new friend Candy Cane Chickie which I stamped inside a snowflake. After I colored him in, I used the Quickie Glue Pen to add Blue Ice Glitter to his hat and the edges of the snowflake. Once dry he was secured to the center of the rosette and added to the treats.
Voila,
ready for gift giving this season. These make awesome little teacher
gifts for the holidays especially if you have multiple to buy for. They
are inexpensive to create.
